JC Skaar is a Subsea Engineer with Shell, based in Houston, TX. He has 20+ years’ experience in the industry, with a subsea project delivery focus across green and brownfield projects in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, North Sea and Australia.
JC was the Subsea Hardware and Artificial Lift Delivery Lead for Shell’s Stones project from 2012 to 2019 and was the Project Manager for the Artificial Lift Technology Qualification Program.
Prior to joining Shell, JC worked for Woodside in Perth Australia and Vetco Gray in Norway and the US.
He graduated with a Masters Degree in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 1998.
