In addition, he was instrumental in providing technical guidance and response support to the 2010 Macondo well incident, and in helping to launch industry's subsequent Marine Well Containment System. Widely respected in the subsea industry, Jeff is currently the API Sub-Committee 17 Chairman overseeing Subsea Production, Processing and Controls Equipment, as well as Flexible Flowines/Risers and Umbilicals; has contributed to numerous industry conference steering committees and SPE applied technology workshops; has been published in several industry journals; and has authored and presented a variety of OTC and UTC papers.
