With the assumption that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, the King's Quay project team focused on ways to maintain system flexibility, mitigate risk, and lower costs to deliver first oil safely, within budget and on schedule while dealing with added complications associated with oil price collapse amidst a global pandemic. This presentation will focus on the team's strategy to manage the interfaces between subsurface, SURF, drilling and completions, and facilities while integrating all disciplines to deliver project goals above individual discipline metrics.
