Amol Bakshi is a Digital Oilfield Engineer in the Chevron Energy Technology Company, Houston. He has a PhD in Computer Engineering and an MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
Mr Bakshi has 14+ years of industry experience in design, development, deployment, and support of real-time production surveillance and optimization solutions built on Chevron-proprietary technologies and industry standard applications. He has broad familiarity with integrated production modeling from reservoir to separator, and connecting physics-based models with relevant time field measurements to drive automated surveillance, analysis, and optimization workflows.
A strong advocate of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, Amol is currently Director of the MARC (Men Advocating Real Change) program for Chevron’s Houston-based workforce. This program is an initiative of the Chevron Women’s Employee Network in collaboration with Catalyst.
