Ebere Chimezie is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Linkpetro Services Limited, a subsea and marine services company focused in the West African region. Prior to that position, Ebere spent 24 years was with Royal Dutch Shell where he led and managed several subsea and deepwater projects in Nigeria, Brazil, Malaysia and US Gulf of Mexico. Ebere’s core expertise is in leading and delivering complex, high risk subsea and offshore oil & gas projects and ventures.
One of his previous project delivery roles was Project Manager of a portfolio of deepwater subsea projects in the US Gulf of Mexico with total Capex exceeding US$0.5bln. Additionally, as Subsea Manager in Brazil and Malaysia, he led several offshore and subsea projects in those regions, with total combined Capex exceeding US1.0bln. He started his oil/gas career in Nigeria where he spent 8 years as facilities engineer for several oil/gas projects. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering (BSc.) Marine/Subsea Technology (MSc.) and Business Administration (MBA).
