Courtney Battle leads the Bakken Division Order team for Equinor and is responsible for managing royalty disputes and a team of thirteen. She is an experienced attorney and Land professional with over 10 years’ experience in title, land, and land administration. Prior to joining Equinor, Courtney practiced at an oil and gas law firm where she developed a strong understanding of the agreements and negotiations that impact an exploration and production company.
Courtney volunteers as the Leading Chair of WE (Women in Equinor) founded in 2018 with 10 members and is now over 1,100. Courtney is passionate about evolving alongside the energy industry and adding equity alongside diversity and inclusion and represents the company at Women’s Leadership conferences. She is a proud fighting Texas Aggie c/o ‘07 and mommy to two energetic little boys, Joseph and Lincoln.
