George Zener, P.E. is the Engineering Manager for BP’s Global Subsea Systems Team. This team is responsible for specification, design, delivery, testing, and maintenance of all subsea production hardware for BP’s global business. George has held numerous positions in BP including Engineering Manager for GoM Subsea Projects and several offshore construction roles. He has over 21 years experience in the oil and gas business. His career has included design, construction, testing and installation of all types of subsea hardware including BOP’s, risers, flowlines, trees, controls, umbilicals, manifolds, etc.. George holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MS in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University.
