Bio
Randy Seehausen is the engineering manager for INTECSEA seafloor equipment including: trees, manifolds, jumpers, control systems and umbilical / distribution systems. Randy also manages subsea processing equipment and pumping systems. Randy has been serving this role for the past 7 years for INTECSEA, a leading provider of engineering and project management services for subsea and floating systems for offshore development engineering. His career has included 20 years with subsea equipment suppliers, 8 years with installation contractors and 12 years with engineering companies.

In addition to subsea engineering management, Randy has a dual role as project manager where he served as PM for the Hess GOM Tubular Bells HP/HT project development (FEED through Installation, Start-up, Pre-Commissioning) and the Hess Ghana DWT/CTP Ultra-Deepwater project (Concept Selection through FEED). Randy has enjoyed many key management roles in business development, business management and engineering operations throughout his career, including: Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Global Business Development Manager, Oil & Gas Industry Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Western Hemisphere Exploration & Development Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Account Manager.
In addition to his management roles, Randy enjoys working early concept development engineering for oil and gas companies and assisting with development cost estimates and offshore development proposals. With regard to this early project work execution, Randy has worked with SURF, floating systems and FLNG developments.

Randy has been a board advisor for SSTB Forum for 15 years and a board director for STF for 9 years and is a member of SPE in Houston. He studied at Texas A&M University where he completed many post-graduate courses.

Randy Seehausen is the facilities engineering manager for Staatsolie Suriname, which is the National Oil Company of Suriname. In this capacity, Randy is responsible for the shallow and deepwater offshore developments for all of Suriname facilities engineering. This includes Host, Topsides, SURF, and Exportation. Randy is responsible for all phases of development including economics planning, concept selection, Pre-FEED. Detail Engineering & FEED, Implementation, Operations, Brownfield, Maintenance & Decommissioning.
Prior to working for Staatsolie, Randy was the INTECSEA seafloor equipment engineering manager. In this role, Randy was responsible for all seafloor equipment including subsea trees, manifolds, jumpers, control systems, umbilical/distribution systems, subsea processing equipment and pumping systems. Randy served in this role for 9 years. Randy also served as project manager for the Hess GOM Tubular Bells HP/HT project development (FEED through Installation, Start-up, Pre-Commissioning) and the Hess Ghana DWT/CTP Ultra-Deepwater project (Concept Selection through FEED) and Hess Stampede Pre-Development.
Randy’s career has included his recent tenure with the National Oil Company of Suriname, 20 years with subsea equipment suppliers, 7 years with installation contractors and 15 years with engineering companies. Randy has held key management roles in business development, business management and engineering operations, including: Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Global Business Development Manager, Oil & Gas Industry Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Western Hemisphere Exploration & Development Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Account Manager.
In addition to his management roles, Randy was responsible for many Advisian Consultancy Projects including early concept development engineering for oil and gas companies and assisting with development cost estimates and offshore development proposals. Regarding this early project work execution, Randy has worked with SURF, floating systems, topsides and FLNG developments. Randy also supported developing nation infrastructure projects for Advisian Consultancy.
Randy has been a board advisor for SSTB Forum for 18 years and was a board director for the Subsea Tieback Foundation (STF) for 9 years and is a member of SPE in Houston. He studied at Texas A&M University where he completed many post-graduate courses.
