Bio
Patrick Murdock is the Senior Principal Subsea Engineer for ExxonMobil, based in Spring, Texas, and is responsible for supporting subsea projects, operating assets, technology development and engineering discipline bench strength worldwide.
Patrick started his career with ExxonMobil in 2001, the majority of which has been in various technical and managerial roles on subsea projects and operating assets in West Africa and Guyana, including six years residing in Luanda, Angola. In addition, Patrick has worked onshore operations in Basra, Iraq and most recently worked as the commissioning manager for Golden Pass LNG prior to returning to Spring for the Senior Principal Engineer role. From 2006-2011, Patrick also took a Leave of Absence from ExxonMobil to serve in the US Navy, including 3 deployments to Afghanistan.
Patrick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2001.
