Ryan has 20 years experience in the upstream and offshore oil and gas industry, supporting projects around the globe. His engineering experience covers the design and assessment of subsea systems, with a focus on deepwater, high pressure-high temperature fields. This experience has been gained in both the office and offshore field environments, from early concept evaluation through to detailed design and into operations. In his current role, Ryan serves as Senior Manager, Engineering for the Americas region, accountable for the engineering disciplines in the O&G market within the Wood Consulting business. Responsibilities include strategy development, talent & competency management, training & development, engineering management, performance management, and technical assurance. Ryan has published several papers, and presented at various industry forums, specifically on the performance of high pressure-high temperature pipeline systems.
