Harvey Smith has 38 years’ experience in Subsea Production Controls systems, initially in Directional Control Valve design, through Hydraulic Power Unit design, assembly and testing, working for or with all 4 major Subsea Original Equipment Manufacturers and currently as a Principle Subsea Controls Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for Woodside Energy Limited. Harvey has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Offshore Engineering (Electrical). In his current role, Harvey works across all Woodside projects and on reliability improvements, ongoing Subsea opportunities both installed base and new projects and is proactively involved in the lesson learnt process and internal standards update.
