Stephan has 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specializing in onshore and offshore project development and delivery. He joined BHP Petroleum in 2006 after a 12-year career with Technip. He is now part of the Woodside Energy major development leadership team.
Currently holding the position of Vice president / Project Director for Trion, which is the first oil Deepwater development in Mexico. Stephan was appointed to this position in 2019 and is responsible for progressing Trion towards an investment decision and then deliver the project in accordance with the business plan.
Previously, he has served as the Program Director for the BHP Petroleum Australian projects, based in Perth. Stephan has an extensive and global experience in major development having held senior project management roles supporting and delivering operated or non-operated developments in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Southeast Asia.
Stephan holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nantes (France). Stephan is married with 3 children, and enjoys playing and watching soccer
