Bio
Michael Smith has been active in the subsea environment for more than 30 years. He started his career with the U.S. Navy on submarine duty in the Pacific fleet, operating nuclear propulsion systems. He obtained a BS and MBA at Oregon State, moved to Norway and joined the subsea oil patch. He spent many years working with subsea multiphase meters at Emerson and Schlumberger/OneSubsea before moving into subsea environmental monitoring.
