The current state of the industry relies on ROVs physically tethered to manned support vessels to perform subsea intervention. Alignment on a broad-based vision for the future of ROV – autonomous vehicles, autonomous vessel, remote operated vessels and vehicles. What can the industry do to advance this – what standards are needed?
