Reenst Lesemann is CEO of Columbia Power Technologies, Inc., an Oregon-based ocean wave energy technology developer. Before joining Columbia in 2011, Reenst was a co-founder and Managing Director of Tall Oaks Capital Partners, a seed and early stage venture firm. Prior to Tall Oaks, Reenst ran a series of transportation-based businesses including a maritime logistics spin off, TradeSource, Inc., that he created, led and managed. He has served as a Co-Chair for the National Hydropower Association’s (NHA) Marine Energy Council since its inception through 2022 and as a member of the NHA’s Board of Directors. He is a member of the Marine Technology Society, Society for Petroleum Engineers, and the Society for Underwater Technology.
