Robert James joined Murphy Oil Corporation in July of 2014. He worked as both a production and facilities engineer supporting Murphy's Gulf of Mexico assets. In 2019, he transitioned to the capital projects team to support the King's Quay Project serving as Operations Readiness and Commissioning Lead. Robert currently serves as Project Manager - Capital Projects in which he's responsible for delivering first oil for the Phase Two wells tying back to the King's Quay FPS. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is also pursuing his Master of Business Administration from Rice University with planned graduation in May 2023.
