Bill Gilmour joined Chevron’s Technology Company in 2011 and now holds the position of Chapter Manager for Geomatics, Geotechnical and Metocean. Bill is responsible for providing technical support to Chevron projects and Business Units globally, including technical standards and introduction of Subsea GIS capability. He also directs the AUV technology development program

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Topographic Science from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Bill has over 40 years of experience in Land and Hydrographic surveying in a variety of international positions. He has worked in UK, UAE, India and Bermuda before coming to the USA in 1999.
