William M. Taggart IV is an engineering consultant. Previously he was with Murphy Exploration and Production Company –USA for oil/gas facilities. He has been active on the API 14C committee (offshore topsides process safety), ISO 10418 committee (international version of 14C), API 17O committee (Subsea HIPPS) and ISA S84 (Process safety). Prior to joining Murphy Expro, Mr. Taggart was a consulting engineer with Waldemar S. Nelson and Co. from 1988 to 2004. He on many projects including Deepwater oil/gas facilities Nakika (MC474) and Ursa (MC809).
