Matt Obernuefemann is a Senior Subsea Engineer for ExxonMobil Upstream Company located in Houston, Texas. Matt has worked for ExxonMobil in multiple subsea roles for over 18 years and supported the execution and operation of numerous projects in West Africa, Eastern Canada, Gulf of Mexico, and Guyana. His current role is the Guyana Production Readiness SURF Advisor and is responsible for future project developments including operational planning, troubleshooting and start-ups for the Guyana Business Unit.
